Internet Security Training for Female Activist in the Gambia

The Gambia Cyber Security Alliance in partnership with Give1 Project Gambia, #SkyNetCyberSec and Bliss Executives trained female activists in The Gambia on Basic Cyber Security tools needed to protect themselves online. The participants benefited from hands-on practical skills training on how to Protect one from cyber attacks like hacking, spotting fake news, Safety precaution apps and password protection.
Before we ended the workshop, we ran an online program that estimates how long it’d take to crack one’s password. Some of the participants’ passwords would take 42 minutes, 10 days, thousands of years etc. The stronger the password, the harder it’d be to crack.
